On Thursday 24th October Bro. James Bell RWPGM headed a Deputation into Lodge St. Barnabas No. 230 where he presented Bro. Kenneth Alfred Kidd PM with his 50 year diploma.
The RWPGM spoke fondly of Bro. Kenny and his long and devoted service to the craft.
Bro Kenny was initiated Feb 1974 into Lodge Caledonia St John Royal Arch 195 where he had risen to the office of Senior Deacon but through work commitments he had to move to Cumnock where he affiliated to Lodge St. Barnabas and for 40 years has been a loyal servant having been installed as RWM on seven occasions and has been a regular Installing Master around the Province.
Bro. Kidd was warmly congratulated by his Mother lodge with a letter sent from the RWM and Bro. John Muir PM representing the RWM and Brethren of 195 congratulated him.
A fine hour was spent in harmony and congratulations to Bro. Kenny on reaching that magnificent milestone in his masonic career.
